Testing for Grace Martial Arts will be delayed one week because of Tampa City elections. The fellowship hall at the church is used as a polling place for two precincts and the setup is Monday afternoon, Feb. 28th. No one is allowed inside the polling area after setup, so we will not have class on the 28th.
Here are the new testing dates: March 7th & 14th beginning at 6pm. Graduation ceremonies will be March 14th at 7pm. Remember to say your Bible verses and character qualities to your Black Belt instructors by the 14th.
We will have a special guest this coming Monday night, Feb. 21st. Kyoshi Sensei Stephen Van Camp is a 7th Degree Black Belt in Okinawan Matsumura Seito Shorin-ryu Karate-do. I am a 3rd Dan instructor under Sensei Van Camp and have been training with him for 13 years. Kyoshi Sensei has visited our class before and some of you may remember the great time we had training with him. Since this Monday night will be the last class before testing begins on March 14th, we will spend the bulk of our time working on the group Kata and Bunkai.
